APS11700/60 Micropower Magnetic Sensor ICs

Allegro's APS11700 and APS11760 micropower, Hall-effect switch ICs are designed specifically for battery-powered applications in harsh industrial and automotive environments. Automatic power management enables average supply current as low as 6 µA while operating directly from a vehicle battery or other unregulated supplies. The power management happens in the background and is transparent to the host system, making them a drop-in upgrade for existing Hall-effect switches or a solid-state replacement for mechanical microswitches or reed switches.

  • Automotive-grade ruggedness and fault tolerance:
    • Extended AEC-Q100 qualification
    • Internal protection circuits enable 40 V load-dump compliance
    • Reverse-battery protection
    • Output short-circuit and overvoltage protection
    • Operation junction temperature: -40°C to +165°C
    • High electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity
  • Ultra-low power consumption
  • ASIL A functional safety compliance
  • Planar and vertical Hall-effect sensor ICs
  • 3.3 V to 24 V operation
  • Omnipolar and unipolar switch threshold options
  • Choice of output polarity
  • Open-drain output
