NXP Semiconductor MC56F82x 16-bit Digital Signal Controllers combine the processing power of a DSP (digital signal processor) and the functionality of a microcontroller (MCU) with fast and powerful peripherals. NXP MC56F824x and MC56F825x DSCs are members of the 56800E core family and are especially useful for digital power conversion applications, such as board-mounted digital power supplies for servers, industrial and telecom power supplies, and advanced motor control. MC54F82x devices are among the fastest DSCs with embedded Flash in the NXP Semiconductor portfolio and among the most-cost effective DSC offerings on the market. These 16-bit digital signal controllers include up to nine enhanced PWM channels, including six with NanoEdge placement for enhanced power conversion, functionality, and accuracy.
