SMxJ-Q AEC-Q101 TVS Diodes
Bourns SMxJ-Q Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are designed for surge and ESD protection applications. The diodes offer a choice of Working Peak Reverse Voltage from 12V up to 58V. Typical fast response times are less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to Breakdown Voltage. The SMAJ-Q Series features a 400W power dissipation, a 40A peak forward surge current and is packaged in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) size format. Packaged in a DO-214AA (SMB) size, the SMBJ-Q devices feature a 600W power dissipation and a 100A peak forward surge current. The SMCJ-Q components are packaged in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) size format, feature a 1500W minimum peak pulse power dissipation, and 200A peak forward surge current. Packaged in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) size format, the SMLJ-Q Series features a 3000W minimum peak pulse power dissipation and a 300A peak forward surge current. Bourns Chip Diodes conform to JEDEC standards, are easy to handle with standard pick and place equipment, and the flat configuration minimizes roll away. SMxJ-Q Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes are now in available 5.0SMDJ footprint.
TVS Diodes
Bourns surface mount TVS diodes are low capacitance devices that provide ESD, EFT, and surge protection for external ports of electronic devices such as cellular phones, handheld electronics and other portable electronic devices. Bourns TVS Diodes include smaller chip diodes that have the capability to provide a silicon diode with minimal packaging overhead. The chip diodes 0603, 1005, 1408, and 2010 are leadless, allowing for maximum space on PCB layouts. All Bourns diodes are RoHS compliant and meet many worldwide industry and government regulations on lead free components. TVS package diode design kits are also available from Bourns.
