The i.MX 6SoloX is the first ARM processor to use both the Cortex-A9 and Cortex-M4 cores. This provides the flexibility of a chip that can run a sophisticated OS with the Cortex-A9 and also provide real-time responsiveness and system control with the Cortex-M4 core. The i.MX 6SoloX incorporates four independently controlled resource domains for maximum effectiveness and security when portioning system resources such as memory and peripherals.
