It does what it says it does. What they don't tell you is how noisy the DC is coming out of it. Wanted to replace a previously purchased buck converter with this to have more current capabilities in my modified stereo project, this is useless for the application as I can't quieten it down enough, to be useable. Might be OK for other projects.
