Z-Axis LRA Coin Vibration Motor

Jinlong Machinery's coin sized linear resonant actuators (LRA) generate vibration and haptic feedback in the Z plane, perpendicular to the motor's surface. Vibration and haptic feedback generated in the Z plane can be preferred, especially in wearable applications, to standard ERM type coin motors whose vibration is in the X-Y plane. The simple internal construction offers high reliability and exceptionally long life when compared with brushed ERM coin vibration motors. They make an excellent choice for devices with a limited battery capacity; for example, 19 mA at 0.6 V while producing a vibration G force of 0.55 g. An LRA driver IC such as the TI DRV2605 is required for use. Double stick adhesive, rubber foam pads, and custom lead wire lengths are available.
