CUI Inc has added a line of AC-DC power modules that provide 3 watts of power in a compact encapsulated package. The VSK-S3 is designed for a wide range of applications where space is limited such as telecom or datacom. These units measure 1.46 x 0.91 x 0.59 inches. They accept a universal input voltage (85 to 264 V_AC or 110 to 370 V_DC), offer efficiencies up to 78% in the 24 V model, and are rated for operation at 100% load from 0 to 50°C ambient.

The VSK-S3 Series delivers output voltages ranging from 3.3 V to 24 V among 6 separate single output models. Features include an isolation voltage of 3,000 V_AC, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, low output ripple and noise, and UL60950 safety approvals.
